App User Tagging

App User Tagging

Identify users by combining data

Include email addresses or usernames in reports

What is it?

Opentracker reports display a Visitor's Profile for every visitor.
That visitor profile can now include email addresses. You can also display user-names, client ID numbers, or login IDs.

Note: you need to provide us the email or username with a sendEvent (a simple technical process).

Give me an example:

If people login to your app with an email address (or any other type of user ID) then the email address or ID will be displayed in the visitor profile in our reports.

Q: Why should I use this technology?
A: This technology is designed to assist with user identification for usability research or to provide best-in-class support or assistance.

In a nutshell: user tagging will show you, for your entire client database, membership, or opt-in list, who is using your app and what they do, and how they do it. It can also function as an client tracker, if your business involves knowing your clients.
