how to research a specific search term

Q: Is there a way to determine the number of visitors referred? using the term
"tickets", as opposed to users simply looking for general event information
on our site? We are trying to get an accurate portrayal of traffic which is
specifically looking for our products.

A: Yes, that info is available, if I understand correctly. Under Top Navigation Lists, there is a Top Search Terms report. The report can be configured with or without search engines, meaning you can see how many people came in with "tickets" by a particular search engine, or total. Yesterday, for example (depending on time zone settings) you received 19 visits from people who typed "tickets" in to Google. You can set this report per individual day by selecting "one day" from the drop-down calendar and clicking on the calendar to select a day.

Please keep in mind that the number of people Google send to you and the number of people who arrive and allow the page to fully load may differ. IN other words, we count the number of people who actually arrive at your site, while your referrers? will count only the number of people they send.
