s.e. = single event

A "single event" is defined when a visitor clicks on a single page of your site, and no second click or exit event recorded.

registration of single page visitors

I'm interested in considering Opentracker as my website analytics solution, but I want to be sure, that it will register single page visitors.

For instance, a visitor arrives at my website, but only opens the frontpage, and does not click into a second page. Will this visit register in your system as a visit, and record the his/her time on the site?

This is important to us, as we want to know if a particular user is reading the content on the frontpage, just as much as the second or third.

What is Bounce Rate? (bouns rāt) n.

The bounce rate for the homepage, or any other page through which visitors enter your site, tells you how many people 'bounce' away (leave) from your site after viewing one page.

So, if the bounce rate from your homepage is 30% (which is relatively low), that means that 30% of your visitors ‘bounce away’ from your homepage.
